I can smell the fermented fish already. One signature food ingredient in Cambodia is called "Prohok." It's fermented fish. Yummy? Huh?

Tomorrow morning I will be taking off, bouncing from Los Angeles to Shanghai and then Phnom Penh. It's an odd feeling going back. It will be a long two weeks away from Sarah, but only a brief visit to friends in the Kingdom of Wonder, but I am positive God has a manifold plan.

I am writing to ask you to pray for me, pray for the friends I will be with, and pray for the country of Cambodia to come into more and more who their Creator has created them to be.

I am thankful how God has provided for this trip. In just a few weeks, all but $100 short of what my projected expenses are has been covered. If he has provided this much in finances, how much more trust do I have in people praying for me, and overall just partnering with what God is doing in all of this?

I am elated, sad to leave the wifey, and nervous all in one swoop. But overall I am confident.
