If you are a regular around here you might remember a pervious post citing some blogs I follow. I forgot to mention one. He does not post very regularly. His posts seem to come in waves.
For some, his writings sometimes might seem a little theologocally dense. I will encourage you to take the time though to think through it, maybe even look up some of the terms he uses if you don't understand.

Recently he has been in a series on Why Greek Matters. He discusses why looking at the original language of the New Testament is valuable. Some times the English language does not have a direct translation for certian Greek words.
An example of this is the Greek word for you in the plural from has no distinguished English parallel. We use the word y'all, you guys, or some times just you when refering to a group of people directly. In the English translation of the Bible a regular reading of a passage might miss the true meaning of what the Biblical author is trying to convey because the NIV doesn't use "y'all."
So far he has 11 posts on different Scriptural examples showing the value of understanding the Greek.
This is not to say English translations are not useful. The reason the Bible is Holy, inspired, canon, etc… is because we have the Holy Spirit. He makes the Word what it is, and inconsistent language is not an opponent too strong for our God.
